Formed in February 2015 and made up from 3 founder members of ‘Indie Manned’ and the former guitarist with ‘The Kites’ and ‘The Mirrors’, Setting Sons bang out the songs of Paul Weller, his influences and those influenced by him.

 

Lead vocalist Calvin Dodd, guitarist Phil Bingham, bass guitarist Paul ‘Caigy’ McCaig and drummer Mark Jenkinson are very pleased to be joined by the multitalented guitarist from ‘The Torn’, Nick Berry and much sought-after keyboard player, Simon Clarke of ‘The Wolfmen’, when they are not gigging with their own bands

 

Setting Sons’ set list includes firm favourites such as David Watts, Start, All or Nothing, Eton Rifles, Sunny Afternoon, Changing Man, Wild – Wood, That’s Entertainment, the anthemic Town Called Malice, as well as plenty more classics which would cause the good memories to come flooding back for many and get the feet tapping for all .
