Epworth Music Day 2017 will be held on Saturday June 24th.

It will start at 10 a.m. and finish after the evening concert in Saint Andrew's Church

Everything is free.

The music venues are all within easy walking distance of each other and are based around the centre of Epworth.

Epworth is most famous as the birthplace of John and Charles Wesley, the founders of Methodism. You can follow the Wesley Town Trail and discover the roots of this remarkable family. Visit the Old Rectory to learn about the bustling early years of the Wesley brothers and then pay a visit to the spectacular 12th century Church of Saint Andrew and the neighbouring quiet grassed area The Vinegarth. The trail also includes the Market Cross and the beautiful Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.

Most of these places on the historical Wesley Town Trail are among the venues for the Epworth Music Day 2017.

Epworth is a small town which was awarded first place in the competition for the best kept small town in 2014 which was run by the Campaign to Protect Rural England .  The report highlights the beautiful and imaginative planting at the Wesley Memorial Church, the litter-free streets and play areas, residents’ gardens and well presented independent shops.

The Epworth Music Day 2017 gives you the opportunity for a family or personal visit to a beautiful historic town and at the same time enjoy a day with music, singing and dancing in its many forms and from different periods of history - medieval to modern.

A wonderful music filled day out for the family and it's all free.
