Paul Bellamy and Lynn Haynes

Paul and Lynn are a brother and sister folk duo from Grimsby who have been singing together at the Grimsby Folk Club since they were teenagers. They have both appeared on TV and radio.

In the 1970's they were members of the folk group, The Galley, and in 1975 they made an album called Hail Smiling Morn which was later released in Holland as Joke and Push about the Pitcher. The Galley were together for about 10 years, singing four-part harmony traditional and contemporary songs. After the break up of The Galley, Paul and Lynn joined together with Paul Gough and Jane Gough to form Force Four, another group specialising in harmony singing. Paul also spent many years playing fiddle with the Broadside Ceilidh Band and now plays regularly with The Little Band. Paul is also in the Bellapple Boys, a duo with Dick Appleton.

Paul and Lynn perform regularly at Grimsby Folk Club. Their repertoire consists of traditional and contemporary material sung in harmony and accompanied by Paul on guitar and fiddle with occasional whistle from Lynn.
